Programming

I have been programming in one language or other for several years. I started in Jan 1992 with BASIC on a Tandy 102 laptop, which had a walloping 21446 byte of combined storage space and RAM when empty. A couple years later, I moved (briefly) to Turbo Pascal, and promptly into C/C++.

Thanks to Jeff first, and then Dale, I have learned a lot both about programming methodology in general, and OOP in specific.

Due to my programming roots, I try to write the most compact code I can, while keeping it (mostly) readable. I have examples of code that I have written available in the growing library (accessible from the left menu) and that has been given to me to post.

Please send on any snippets and/or programs you would like to see posted here (in source code form)! You can reach me here. I only ask that you submit code which you either wrote (and therefore have the right to post free of charge) or code you have found that is expressly listed as open source (including GPL-- and Free-BSD--based license schemes, and other, similar schemes).

Some individuals have asked if I only accept C/C++ code. Absolutely not! I am willing to accept anything, in any language, though I will only post it if I believe it is valuable in some way. However, please do NOT send completed assignments from programming classes you are/have taken without your instructor's approval. I will post such material after verifying with your instructor that he/she has OKed the posting.

Thanks for your help and input!
